Natalie Lardner — A native New Yorker, as a child Natalie loved the poems and stories read to her in Russian by her mother.

As the mother of young children, she began to write haiku in the only time she had to herself — early mornings — and Natalie has continued to write poetry and read in public venues ever since. Her poems have appeared in a dozen issues of Riverside Poetry Anthology.

Reid FitzGerald returns to judge this year’s entries for the anthology The Best Haiku.

Reid FitzGerald — Distraction enthusiast, fantasy reader, and independent arborist.

Reid self-describes as a “Distraction Enthusiast,” in addition to being a fantasy reader, professional coffee roaster and an independent arborist.

“About haiku, I love the simplicity of form and the succinct feelings haiku can convey.”

Tatiana Roberts also returns to be a Haiku Crush judge for the The Best Haiku 2023 anthology.

Tatiana Roberts — Avid reader, animal lover and artisan bakery team member.

Tatiana is a “dog mom” who enjoys reading, running, yoga, drawing, camping, hiking, traveling and cycling. She majored in Theatre Production, Art, and English in college. As a team member at an artisan bread and pastry shop, her mornings begin before the sun and dough rise!
